What Showa-ish Postcards!

I like Zao.

Yesterday, I came across these postcards describing Zao area when during walking down Nanuka-machi, Yamagata city. Because they had showa-ish and nostalgic feelings, I purchased them immediately.

I like the bizarre feelings in these postcards, especially in the top one, three skiers look to be synchronizing.

Furthermore, the next is a panoramic postcard describing "Juhyo", tree wearing mantle of ice. And interestingly, this panoramic Juhyo is a combination of three postcards. But, who would want to cut and use this?

According to the caption, left one is downtown Zao hot spring and right one is a cable car near the Mikaeri-zaka.
